Honey, Oats & Apple Muffins

- ¾ cup of milk
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup oil
- ¼ cup clover honey crème
- ½ cup chopped apple
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ⅓ cup wheat germ
- ¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 400° F (200°C).
- Spray muffin cups with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine milk, eggs, oil and honey crème.
- In another bowl, mix together apple and dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until completely moistened (do not overmix!).
- Fill muffin cups ⅔ and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve warm with butter and additional honey crème.
