“Cookies for the IDF, Kosher Foodie Box for You” Extended!

We were getting ready to remind everyone that today is the last day of “Cookies for the IDF, Kosher Foodie Box for You!”, but then, an amazing thing happened! Some teens in Efrat heard that we had fallen behind in our cookie baking (thanks to your generous response!) and offered to come help us catch up. But it doesn’t end there. They had so much fun, and felt so good about what they accomplished, that they volunteered to come back as often as needed during their summer vacation and keep on baking! Thanks to their selflessness, we are able to extend our offer for an additional 3 weeks! For every subscription ordered through August 21, we will continue to bake and deliver a dozen cookies to the Pina Chama (Cozy Corner). The Pina Chama, located at the Gush Etzion Junction, is a place where IDF soldiers can drop in for a hot drink, a cold slush and some home baked deliciousness. on the way to their base. On an average day, 250 soldiers of every rank and unit stop by for a hot cup of coffee, freshly baked goods (which are all prepared by volunteers) and a smile. We hope and pray that our precious chayalim will be out of the immediate danger of combat soon and returned to their loving families.
